New Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Visiting Time, How to Reach: The New Ram Mandir is a Hindu temple being built in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, at the place of Ram Janmabhoomi, the birthplace of the Hindu God Rama. Ram Janmabhoomi is a popular pilgrimage site for Hindus in India. It is about 8 kilometers from Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh.

The construction of the New Ram Temple Ayodhya began on August 5, 2020 Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi has laid the foundation stone, which is estimated to be opened by December 2023. The entire temple complex, however, is expected to be completed by 2025. The Prime Minister has also announced the formation of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for the construction and maintenance of the temple.

 About New Ram Mandir, Ayodhya

According to its architect, the temple would be 161 feet tall, nearly doubling its original size. The new temple will be 360 ​​feet long and 235 feet wide. There will be a total of 5 doom-shaped mandaps and one Shikhar in the temple. The temple will have three floors, in which three storeys of 20-20 feet, and a shikhara will be built after that. Its pillars and walls will be adorned with images of Gods and Goddesses. There will be a lofty dome with beautiful sculptures inside. The 360 ftX235 ft construction will contain 160 columns on the ground floor, 132 on the first story, and 74 on the second.

The New Ram Mandir Complex will also have a pilgrim facilitation center, museum, research center, auditorium, cow barn, ritual area, administration building, and priest rooms. There are proposals to restore and develop surrounding heritage structures such as Kuber Tila and Sita Koop.

How To Visit New Ram Mandir, Ayodhya?

The construction of the New Ram Temple is going on in full swing in Ayodhya. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has claimed that the grand temple of Lord Shri Ram being built in Ayodhya is expected to be completed in two years.  According to the general secretary of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, The full Ram temple complex will be finished by the end of 2025 but, the new Ram temple doors will be open to visitors by  December 2023. Devotees will be able to see Ram Lalla in the new temple Next year. The entire 70-acre site’s development will be finished by the end of 2025.
